Default Front and rear fender rail trim for touring models

Question for those who have installed these front and rear fender rails. I was wondering about the installation. How do they mount? Are they sturdy and rattle free once on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They look like they mount the same way the ones on my EGC mount. The front and rear have a stud behind the light/trim on the fender and they mount the center to that. The other two points are to the front fender front bolts and the rear uses the second set of holes on the lower bag support. I pulled them off mine because I didn't like the big ol foam rubber indet they put in mine.

Thanks for your info. Where did they make the indent? On bags or on the fender?

When I had my EG, I also took off the big rubber bumpers both front and back and I did look at that part you are talking about - to me - it looked "Cheap"...

In answer to your mounting question. The rear is a piece of cake. One bolt on each side of the rail, and one in the middle behind the fender. On the front you will have to remove the front wheel as there is a tab that bends over thenuts that hold the rail on to the front forks.

I took the chrome and rubber bumpers off of my EG Classic because they were ugly, and I like the cleaner look without them.
