Default CB added to the Road Glide

Just got back from my dealer (it is a very small dealer but the people are MUCH nicer than the dealer that is less than 5 blocks from my house, Zylstra) and I asked about adding the CB to my Road Glide and he said he didn't think you could add it to the RG. I told him I had the PTT toggle right on the bars, he said he'd check it out and get back to me.
My question, Can/Has anyone added the CB to their RG?
Thanks

It can be done, but it is costly!! You will need new radio, new radio wire harness, and new console.

My friend just added the HD CB to his '07 EG Classic. It was a DIY project and his only problem was a pinched wire in the left switch housing he caused when installing the replacement switch housing from the HD kit.

Spike,
I heard some bad things about Zylstra as well. What small dealer you goin to? I'm not to thrilled with Woodstock either. I'm here in Huntley!! I get my 08 Glide this week and am considering the CB as well.

You can add one... But by the time to get everything you'll need it's $$$$$$$

You'll need the CB Unit - Wiring Harness - Replacement Dash

J&M has a Hang-On cheaper then to do the HD Change over - Heard some good stuff in there units

Spike, I was surprised to read that your '07 RG has a PTT/Squelch switch already on the bike since the HD CB kit comes with a replacement switch housingand switches, including the PTT/SQ becausethe left hand switches from the factorydon't have that switch when shipped from the factory. That your bike already has the PTT/SQ but no CB seems very unusual.
