Hello everyone,

a few days ago I took my first Harley Davidson FLHXS 2022. When I turn the key to the ON position, I don't hear one chirp and also when I return the key to the OFF position I don't hear two chirps but only the turn signals come on. When the engine is on the legs and locked, and the key is removed, if I correct the engine start with only turn signals without a siren. Is this okay. I ask for your opinion.

btw; on youtube i found how to turn tweet on / off but it is not for model 2022 so it has no effect.

What's your "Owner's Manual" say? Bet it says - "Vehicles with optional siren can be set to chirp upon arming and disarming."

I can't find anything in the manual ...

 

No "optional" siren, no chirp! Buy the siren, plug it in and you'll get your chirp back. Siren can be programmed to chirp or not

 

Your bike did not come with a siren, I believe CVO’s are the only ones that come standard with it. HD actually makes a pretty cool one with remote that will notify you if someone is messing with your bike from 1/2 mile away, you have to have the pager to go with the siren though.

 

Fairly straightforward install. Just plugs into the siren connector behind the left side cover.
