Default I am in need of a wiring diagram.

I recently bought some hand controls with switches and wiring off a '05 Road King for my Sprotster basket case and I need to know what wire does what. If one of you has the service manual I would appreciate it if you could tell me what wire does what so I can get the wiring right when I go to assemble my project.

A picture from the wiring diagram in the service manual would be the best way to go about this I think.

THANKS, ahead of time!

If I were you I would go toa dealer and just see if they would print off a copy of the diagram. The best thing,if you plan on keeping the bike is buy a manual.

Good suggestion on going to the dealer, thanks.

I would buy a manual if I had the entire bike but I only have the swichtes and hand controls. I have manuals for the Jeep, Saturn, Sporty and the Dyna. I guess I'm a manual freak.

This should get you in the area although not an 05, the wiring isn't that much different.

Great links Glide, especially Smokey Riders. That is some great stuff.

Thanks!

I was looking through the one for the '04 and it looked similar to the one in my '98 Dyna manual so I took a look through mine and found them to be a perfect color and routing match. I guess I can use the 1998 diagram for my wiring after all.
