You can get the Stage II kit without the CAT slip-ons ( I did) and have much better power, still under warranty. It's 899+ the slip ons so it works out about the same.

I've got about 2500 miles on my 103 and am very pleased.I rode 900 miles with the 96" and it was OK , but the 103 stage II really ought to be the base engine for baggers.

I'd also plan on getting SERT , it makes a difference.
Do you know the cat# for the kit without the mufflers ?

TIA

First off when (in my opinion) you call the dealer "Stealers" then the price will be too much.
My thoughts exactly. If you are going to refer to a dealer as a 'stealer', why would you want them to do the work? Personally, I have never refered to a dealer as a 'stealer'. No one is making me buy anything from them, they are just making a profit (albeit sometimes a large one) and if you decide to go to them for work, or anything, what does that say about you? I am not trying to slam you, I just get tired of reading it all the time. We choose, or not (in my case), to get work done there, so we are at fault if we feel they are stealing from us. There are a lot of dealers, and indepenent shops to go to. IMO, go to someone you feel is not going to take advantage of you, or do the work yourself. Again, JMHO. And I bet that 103" will be a sweet ride. I would love to have the money to have some work on my engine. Hope it is all that you want, and I hope that you enjoy your new bike.
