I get my tires from ridedirect.com They carry different brands. I get a new front and back or maybe two back tires. Skinny whitewall Dunlop about $120 for rear and less for front. They have free shipping with $200 orders. Dunlop tire is balanced. It has a dot painted on it line it up with valve stem, your wheel is also balanced from Harley. No need to balance. Most shops will charge $30 for mounting. I do my own and for my friends. The Dunlops are what came on your Harley, so good enough for me. Good luck ride safe and watch out for the other guy, Ollie

I thought that the green dot that is on the Dunlop is the light spot of the tire & that is the reason you put the dot at the vavve stem. But the Dunlop rear I just put on needed the same three square weights that the original tire came with from the factory. So there might be something to that theory about the tires being balanced from Dunlop

I do my own at home. However, if I ever need someone to do it for me, a dealer near me sells any HD tire for 99 bucks and charges one hour labor to mount it. Show your overpriced dealer this ad and ask if he can match it. Sure, he won't but watching him stammer around with a lame excuse will be entertaining.
