Has anyone tried this new seat.. 52095-08 Leather Low-Profile ?

 

i had one delivered today! can't wait to get home and put it on. I'd be glad to take a pic if anyone wants to see it.

 

I'd like to see it and hear your opinion of it after you have some miles on it.I need something lower but still comfortable. Which bike are you putting it on? Enjoy, new toys are fun.

 

I did, it looked bad, had wrinkle in seat bottom when installed,and didnt feel very good, took it back and sent stock seat to mean city cycles and had it modified, very comfy now.

 

i am doing the opposite of you gunrunner, i already had my stocker modified by MCC. Didn't do a darn thing for me. It did feel more comfy at first, but about 45 min. later the same butt burn returned. This new seat sits me just were i want to be. As far as comfy well ive no idea yet, but the firmness is nice, not too hard not to soft. Id say i sit an inch or more lower and an inch or so back. It really looks the part too. It can't possibly be as uncomfy as the stock(before MCC mod) seat!! Am planning on a ride this weekend. Will snap a photo hopefully tomorrow night and will report back on comfort as i get some miles on it. oh and this is on an EGS.

Yo! Thatguy, I have purchased the exact same seat. Although, I had to modify both sides to able me to open and close my bags without rubbing. Also trimmed up the nose so it would not rub on the tank. Very picky! As far as looks, I love it. Although it does look better on 07 down models because of the bucket. Going to ride this weekend and post how it fells. Good choice Thatguy!!
