If they made them just to the bag lower support,(wider) then add compartments that flip up or down to hide the mounting pins and add a bit of storage, then they
would still be bags, call them slim bags...

The Idea is OK kinda updates Harley bagger look a bit... And if you water cool the engine and add a driveshaft and an airbag...nevermind... J/K!
