Default Deadcenter Fairing Radio

Does anyone have one of the newer Deadcenter fairings with the Pioneer DEH-P3900MP radio? I have been reading some reviews of the radio unit and it seems more then one personsays the volume control issensitive and somewhat hard to use while moving. Theses were from cage installs so I am wandering if it may be even more of a problem on the bike.

It is a bit sensitive because it is easy to push on it when you are playing with the volume. By pushing you change modes from Aux, CD, and Tuner. But I got used to it and its not bad.

Like Inforit said, it is sensitive, and I did get used to it. Usually I use the remote that I have mounted with a samll piece of Velcroon the console

Ok, thanks for the information. Looks like it is realy a non-issue then. I have been looking and researching for sometime and I am ready to order one.

I've got a Sony Marine unit in mine and it has a Round **** (old school) control, more better suited for a cage or boat. It can be the dickens when using the volume.

The push buttons rock.... compariably.

It's really a non-issue when the radio comes with a remote which is much easier to use when riding. In fact I use the remote more than I fiddle with radio face instruments.

SEMPER FIDELIS!
