Has anyone out there mounted a GPS system to the handle bars of a Road King?

Ram Mount makes a mount & works well...

There are also a few listed on E-Bay...

Or you can get a GARMIN ZUMO 550 and you'll get one with it

I used the Ram mount on my UC. Works well on the left side where you can plug into the socket. I bought the holder and double ball ended extension for my 4530 Garmin. It's easy to read and is a good distance from you so you can see it without having to refocus to much.

Like Pappy sez, RAM mounts are good and have many variations. I use one for my Garmin hand-held on my King and love the quick on/off capability. Use caution though, as RAM only fits stock bar diameter (at least when I got mine 2 yrs. ago). I say this because I am in need of the obligatory handlebar upgrade that most of us RK owners face, and the ones that interest me are 1.25 ", which will require some mods to the mount....Best of luck bro.

I have my ZUMO 550 mounted on my left handlebar. I use the mount it came with(RAM) and works great. RAM makes great mounts, been using them in aviation for years.

I suspect if I read more of the manual I might be able to find it, but my stereo system has a "NAV" button on it. I have the Anniversary edition Ultra. Is there a navigartion system option with this system, or is that really more of a "menu" button for setting up other parts of the stereo/CB/intercom?

I have a Garmin Quest. It's the same model that Harley sells only a different color and less $$$. I use it on my RK with a Ram Mount that I bought off of e-bay. Works great.

I have my GPS mounted on the RAM mount on the left bar. I plugged a 12V recepacle into the plug on the left side of the seat, ran it from thereunder the seat and under the console to the bars.
