Default RK Police FLHP brake pads different?

Looking to buy EBC HH brake pads for a 08 Road King Police FLHP

The EBC compatibility guide states that the FA409HH while for the RK is not for the RK Police
I find this difficult to believe

Anyone know?

The Harley parts listing shows the same part number for both models. So I would imagine that the EBC pads will fit your Police bike. http://www.stcharlesharleydavidson.c...partfinder.htm

Thanks for the link

While the pad is listed separately for the front the rear is listed c/w pin and therefore a different PN
From what I can see on EBC, pads are the same front and rear FA-409-HH

For others reading this, the HH suffix is a friction coefficient and fairly aggressive and a bit had on rotors. Pad selection is a bit like oil choices and bound to create a controversy so each to his own application and experience.
EBC PN is therefore FA-409-.......

It's cheaper and easier to replace pads than rotors.

After all this is a 800 lb bike + me
Yes but there is no substitute for an aggressive pad when you need it and I do not mind the rotor wear.

I knew that a pad discussion would invite comments...........................
