Trick to save money: Install all mods yourself, LOL!
No, but seriously. This thread has given me some great ideas for my new FLHX.
Has anyone carpeted the inside of their bags? I've got some left over speaker cabinet carpet and spray adhesive. Thinking I may just got to town.

Tour Pack Divider Mod
I got tired of having to re-organize my tour pack because everything would slide around, and I didn't want to fork out over $100 for a factory organizer, so I took some 1/4" MDF I had laying around, cut it to shape, and covered it with speaker felt to match the tour pack liner. I used the vinyl pouch that's bolted to the back of the trunk to help wedge them into place, and it's very effective. My out of pocket cost...$8 for the felt. Helmet goes in the middle, paperwork and CD case goes to the right, and head gear and miscellaneous items on the right.

It's beed described in numerous threads, but to keep the DIY, cheap, easy, and free mods alive, here's the jug mod.... set dem puppies free, ( o Y o )
I removed the cow bell and horn and the bracket between the cylinders, tucked the wires up under the tank. I do plan on finding a smaller horn and putting it behind the side access cover.

TeamMudd,
I found on my '14 SGS the horn fit under the seat. There's a hole in the framework that is perfect for the stud on the horn to mount it. There's a "pocket" that the horn fit perfectly into almost like it was designed that way. It's where the backbone drops down behind the tank. basically above the starter but inside the frame in front of the battery.
I can snap you a couple pictures when I get home from work if you'd like
