I wanted to avoid drilling through my inner faring also. Maybe I will pickup the base plate and dry fit some stuff.

Thanks for the info and keep me updated on your progress.

Default Sorry for the delay.

So I don't know why but I didn't get the notification from Sbeast and Bugsy about my taillight mod.

Eunoterpsia is partly correct. it is a Bullet boyz led board but the pn is incorrect. The correct number is BB7010. I bought mine off eBay.

Default Couple end of season mods

Crankcase vent, with fabbed catch bottle. Works great and keeps any extra moisture, etc. from being vented back into engine. Plus, it's epa compliant since I made the catch bottle for it lol
Old points cover was worn out and wanted a military one (not for $200+ though). So took some 3 inch 6061 and machined it with a counter to press fit a challenge coin. Couple layers of clear and easy install.
Last was replacing the shift linkage. Didn't like any aftermarkets enough to spend the money. Did a bit of searching and didn't really see anybody else come up with this. So welded some chain together. Easy linkage and different look.

Thanks, all tig welded, polished and clear coated. Thought about sending it out to be chromed, but liked the natural look better. Haven't seen another like it lol
Yours looks great too. Think I would have bent the fingers to look like it was grabbing the lever, but still pretty good looking.

Default batwing bracket repair

really isn't much, but my bracket was broken right where the bolt holds the structure, I just used a big washer that covered the crack and it stays snug so far.........

I didn't want my side rails on my bags. So I cut them off and made a plug out of stainless and polished it up and epoxied it in.

May want to think about installing the threaded bag bolts in place of the twist mounts. Your bag comes off now, it's pavement surfing. I have always liked the chrome bag rails. After seeing yours gone, I like it gone and clean.
