Default Fairing Decals

Anyone put fairing decals on their fairing? were they worth it? how do they hold up in weather etc.

How about some pics?

They were worth it for me. Very easy to apply. Then I crashed and had to replace the fairing. Haven't gotten around to replacing the decals.

Looks good. How do you apply and do you have to cover with clearcoat?

If I remember correctly, you use soapy water which allows you some wiggle room. As for a clear coat, my body man said it would be difficult at best to do. He explained why but I have forgotten the gist of it. The downside is that when you wash the decal, you do feel the edges so you have to be careful not to roll the edges. I thought they were worth it and I am careful when I wash them. I let no one wash my scoot.

If you go to the purple harley's web site they have instructions for application and clearcoating if you desire to do so. We have some guys around here that have their "airbrushed decals" with clearcoat over them and they look real sharp.
