Default Cleaned up battery area.

Last weekend I finally got around to re-wiring that rats nest of wires and ring terminals and inline fuses along with a new Yuasa 500 cca battery, Some really fat #2ga wires, And a 6 fuse power distrubition block.

A little trimming, drilling and filing squeezed it in.

Nice job on the rewiring !

BTW,i also got a new yuasa GYZ32HL 500CCA battery for my 09 FLHTCU from PhatPerf for only $132 inc s&H.

That yuasa 500CCA battery spins the motor over fast ,thats for sure.

Now i hope it lasts a long time like most Yuasa batteries have a rep for doing.

And it says it's MFG'd in the USA @ Yuasa's plant located in PA.

Thanks all, What really amazes me beside how easy it turns over is when I put it on the new Yuasa tender I bought with it, It goes green in just a few seconds. The battery is still fully charged! That poor old tired Duracell would take all night and then barely turn it over and only about 2 or 3 starts before dying ;p

I'd like to know a little more about the 6 fuse power distribution block. Is there a 30 amp fuse in it?

Looks like a blue seas box. I went with their smaller version on another install I did.

Yes, two of them one for the amplifier, And one for a horn relay. It's from Blue Seas a boat electronic power distribution block. Can handle a total of 100 amps between all 6 fuses.Lots of em on Amazon

Very nice. I looked at the unit from the link above but did not see where all the grounds are attached. Only saw +. How do the grounds from the various devices connect?
