Default New Hawg-Wired plug-and-play amp

I'm very interested in this new amp from Hawg-Wired, partly because it's so uncomplicated. It simply plugs into the back of the HK radio.

I'm no audiophile — just want crisp clear sound on the highway for my 2008 Street Glide. (Front speakers only)

Can anyone tell me how this unit (60W x 2 with 4 ohm speakers) compares to their other products, as well as the HogTunes amp? (Other than price, of course.)

Is there any downside to drawing power for the amp through the Harmon Kardon radio using the supplied pigtail, versus running a wire directly to the battery as the other units do?
