Default Corbin, Mustang or HD Sundowner???

Touring seat with driver back rest.
Some say Corbin are hard but still comfortable.
Mustang back rest NO tool removal.
Harley with back rest actually cheaper.
.....WHICH ONE!
07' Road King
200 lbs - 5'10"
Stock is fine for 50-100 miles, but all day my wife and I are in pain.

Please chime in on your experiences with these products.

You all give me such great ideas and information!
Thanks!
ZENO

Have had Corbin Classic Solo's on both my baggers with back rests and their passenger pillions, they are pricey, but they work for me and the wife . Had a Mustang, didn't fit us .

IMO

MoCo seat foam = junk, breaks down after a few months

Have a Corbin = very firm, could not get used to it

Just got a Mustang seat = jury's still out. The Dual Touring is 19" wide - a bit ugly looking.

Hi Zeno, I put a sundowmer on my 07 RK Custom.
That is the second one I had. Putone on my old LowRider It's a good seat. The wife loves it 100% better any stocker. I don't run a back rest, but then Ican rest on my wife? I can run a few tanks of fuel
beforI get any problems with my butt. My son runs a Corbin and he likes it, but I'm 220 lbs. and he is 180 lbs. I hear jel sel seats good for cross country, that buddy put on his [bmw]

So far so good with the Mustang solo and wider pillon seat for the bride.

I went with the Sundowner for my classic. Liked the look of the stock, just wasn't comfortable. Sundowner kept the stock look and after about 4K still seems just as comfortable as the day I installed.

My wife rode as a pillion once on the stock 07 Road King Custom and complained bitterly. I replaced with a Sundowner with both rider and pillion backrests, the level of comfort is superb. I would highly reccommend the combination.

I don't have any experience with Corbin or Mustang but felt the same about stock HD seats. I called and sent my stock seat to MeanCityCycles. You will save a bunch and be happy with the results. There has been many posts on this forum about MeanCityand all are good. MCC is a forum sponser!

I had both Corbin and Mustang seats on my FLT. I also found the Corbin to be too firm. InAz. Iput on nearly 1500 miles in 5 days. No Monkey butt !! If a Mustang would fit the new bagger i would put one on it. I thought it was a great seat.
