Default What did you pay? Stage II 95 kit???

I am really really really considering getting the stage II 95 kit installed (with cams). I was wondering what you folks have paid and if you think it was worth the coin?

Depending on which kit your going to install, if your going to install the emmision legal Stage 2 with 203 cams and cat mufflers or the Stage 2 that is in the SE catalog. The emmision legal will be covered under waranty, the other will not because it has the crossed flags. Last summer I had the Stage 2 out of the SE catalog installed on my 05 EG classic which already had the stage 1 air filter and the SE Pro mufflers, all totaled out the door parts tax and labor was right around $1,500.

I have one and IT ROCKS. When you flip the wick at anything above 2200 RPMS, you best be hanging on... even with two up.

I think Rhino is asking because his bike is brand new (think warranty)

Like wise, I wanted more than stock, and the most I could get, and be covered under warranty, was the SE 95 kit #29879-06. It came with the 203 cams.
The kit was $1049.95 less 15%, dealer had a sale.
Labor was charged, 8hr's @ 70.00 per hour. I had other accessories added to the bike, so I don't know how much of those 8 hrs where for the installation of the SE kit.

Ofcourse there is tuning, Iam running the hd download ($149.00 less 15%). My bike runs great with no issues, but that was after the injectors where changed out to the CVO ones. If you go the MOCO SE kit I would demand they go to those injectors (27709-06).
But from what I've read here, its the MOCO that recommends the injector swap.

Would I do it again...........Hell Yeah!

Thanks for the help folks. After talking to my dealer they said they would cover anything up to the cost of the stock parts (warranty) . The rest I would have to come up with once the warranty for the work they did was up. I have been talking to a few people and they tell me gear cams and some head work (this is the short version) would be "better bang for the buck" over the SE stage II. They also said it would get the same results. Who knows what I am going to do yet? I've got time... Thanks again for your help..

$50.00 for used cylinders on e-bay, $125.00 to have bored, $85.00 for piston kit from Harley dealer and 5 hours labor to install, 8 with cam. Shop around.
