RE: Auxiliary Lights on Street Glide
I didn't like the look without them; just seemed that something was missing.
This was the first mod I did after getting my Glide.
I have them wired into the switch so I don't accidently leave them on when I walk away from the bike. Also wired so that I can run them (or not) regardless of high beam or low beam.
I was told that is illegal in some states. I don't care. I want to be seen in any state.

RE: Auxiliary Lights on Street Glide
I just added them to mine last week. I got the bulbs with the smoked lenses and I like the looks of them a lot. I have only had the chance to test them at night once so far but I think they make a great improvement. I took it out on the back roads that are very dark and they seem to light up the road about as well as running with the brights on. I also like that they add some more light to the sides of the road where the deer are waiting to jump out at you. The more light the better both day and night imo.

RE: Auxiliry Lights on Street Glide
I do Not.
However since seeing yours...
I have the headlight trim ring and the turn signal trim rings you have.
I see if I add the running lights with the dsame trim rings it will look awesome!

RE: Auxiliry Lights on Street Glide
Aren't there detailed directions for doing this installation yourself? I cannot find them.
Thanks,
Frank

RE: Auxiliry Lights on Street Glide
I went with the engine guards lights. Not on yet, some delivery guy is going totest them for severalweeks to see how they perform in a cardboard box. I prefer the fairing the way it is.

I also have them on mine and I installed it myself on 06 SG. It looks good on mine and each person have their own preference.
