I'm sure this will start a firestorm of comments but
the Dunflops are a harder compound and would last
longer in the heat I would say. The Metzers would handle
better in the wet.

100 comments, 100 different opinions!

I've heard great things about the Dunlop Elite3's but couldn't get ahold of a rear for my RG....so I stayed with the 880's (indy had them in stock)

i've done the searching and yeah i know most like the Metz's...i'm sure i'll hit some rain in "sunny" florida, but like i said i'm mostly highway at 75-80 mph and the rest of the roads down here are in pretty good shape...i have a Metz on the rear now but i think i'm leaning more towards the Lop's

I like the Metz for the traction in the twistys and the wet; my wife likes the Metz for the ride.

Which tire is the one with multiple compounds, hard in the center for mileage, and soft on the edges for cornering?
