Default Reasons for solo seats?

I am trying to decide between a C&C fastback seat for my 08 SG, or a C&C solo seat.I will keep the stock seat w/ pass. seating so I can still have a seat w/ 2 up seating if I choose. What is the reason some of you have a solo, looks or comfort? Thanks for the replies.

Both looks and comfort, did you check out the Corbin line? I have the Hollywood solo, great quality but took a few hundred miles to soften it up.

Keeps the women from riding on the back. Now they have to sit on my lap.

Stock 2-up seat on my Ultra for when the wife rides with me. However, complete solo set up on my Fat Boy with a Heritage Softail seat, Motherwell chrome fender rackand no stinkin passenger foot pegs ... looks great.

Looks--enjoy seeing the fender, like the older bikes.

Comfort???--Any seat on the bike has to be comfortable or it wouldn't be there.

Covenience--Without the rear seat, it's very easy to have a good excuse for not giving rides--the pillion is always availabe for deserving women, of course.

I went to a solo seat because someone kept stealing my
"NO FAT CHICKS" emblem off the passenger back rest.
