A little over 200 but I usually start looking for gas around 160 miles. Of course this depends on how fast you're riding. The 200+ is if I'm cruising around 60-65. If I start going 75+ it drops off quite a bit.
I just ran 170.4 miles on 4.158 gallons = 41.06miles per gallon,
so that should go to just over 200 miles per tank to dry but
I try to get in around 160 or so also.
I keep an eye on the odometer, when I get to 150 miles I start to plan my next fuel stop. In town I just get fuelwhenthe fuel light comes on. Two up makes a differance from running solo, solo I have gone 200 miles. My mileage goes from 33 mpg. to 48 mpg. downhill into california I can get 51 mpg. solo. Like I said two up and loaded the wife will have us stop when she wants. It's a pee thing, sometimes me or her.
I too consistently get 41 to 44 mpg. I've gone over 200 milestrying to see if the low fuel light worked. It does. Typically, I also start planning for fuel at 160 to 170 miles.
Fully loaded with luggage and wife and running about 75mph I tend to get 42mpg. So like the others have already mentioned.. I start looking for gas at around 170 miles.
I have not run out but I usually can go over 200 miles and start planning to stop for gas at 175 miles, more or less, depending on how far it is to the next town. That can be a long way in the west.
