Default Best way to seal an exhaust leak?

I have a Fat Cat Freshly installed and I struggle w/ the best way of sealing the the muffler to the head pipe...I can only put so much tq on the pre-manufactured clamp...

Any suggestions would be great...Thanks

Put a bead of High temp silicone (Permatex Ultra Copper) on the inside of the mouth of the muffler and then slide on and tighten. Let it sit 24hrs and you should be good to go.

+1 for Permatex; also, make sure to use the torque values HD sets for the muffler clamps (not the slip-ons manufacturer's values) - don't ask how I know.
