Default What RPM does your bike keep idle?
I notice that my bike idles at about 1000 RPM. Is this normal? It seems a little high for me.

That is actually 1000 rpm, right? It seems ok, my 06 SG is also idling at approx. 1000 rpm and what I´ve heard is that in TC you need to have that rpm at idle to maintainenough oil pressure/volume.

Check from your service/owners manual, you should find the info from there also.

10,000? thats a little high. Mine idles about 8,500

1000 RPM. Before I had the warm/cold idle adjusted it was around 800. After it was adjusted to 1000 I noticed it was easier to get in neutral and generally sounded better while idling.
