anyone who has installed a garmin quest II on their fairing.....

I bought the motorcycle mount but it says to use a 3rd party mount when installing directly on the fairing -- anyone suggest any particular 3rd party mount or even know where I can look for a "3rd party mount"

also, i noticed harleys version of the gps has a smaller motorcycle mount... anyone know if I can buy the harley version and it will work on the questII since it is about the same gps model?

The Harley GPS is a Garmin Quest labeled and programed for HD.

 

I have the HD mount with the Garmin Quest 2. I couldn't find
a 3rd party mount for the fairing. Since the Quest 2 is the same
as the HD version, it works well. I couldn't tell you the part number for the mount, sorry.

I have the Quest 2 and bought all the mounting harware from the dealer. Just go to parts and have them look up the numbers. The HD version is the Quest; and it is just a cheaper memory limitted version of the Quest 2. You'll like the Quest 2. It's served me well for over 45K miles.
