Default V&H fuel pak install/ with big sucker

I was wondering if anybody out there is using the V& H fuel pak. I am getting 1 today and am wondering about installation and setup and how it is working for you. I am also adding a Ness big sucker and already have V&H slip ons installed.

riding buddy just installed one and on a 2500 mile trip he did not suffer any decrease in MPG!...he loves it and I'm hoping to get one this summer along with true duals!

I put on the big shot thru duals, big sucker and the fuel pak. Last year was better. Over the winter I had the dealer do a complete new frontend - grips, cables bar etc. and I was having some popping. I readjusted the fuelpak just to make sure about idle and throttle and it was a little better. But now I'm having a little harder time starting and more popping. I'm gonna have to check again. But besides that the fuelpak is real easy to install and calibrate.

Have fuelpak on 08 ultra, easy to install and setup. Have about 4000 miles on it, very happy.

Thanks for the replys guys, I set it up yesterday but with a stage 1 air cleaner. I ordered the wrong bid sucker, and couldnt wait to get another so i went o Harley and got a s.1. Great throttle response ,easy to program and the price was right. I rode last night and had no popping on decel and no flat spots in the curve that I could feel. I paid $678.71 total tax & shipping for all those parts with used V&H oval from a forum memberthat are like brand new. My est. from harley with rush slip ons was over $1100.00 Thanks to HD Forum I was able to learn what I wanted and needed and save some cash!!!! I think i will make a contribution to HD forums.

Nice! Did the same. So far, 1.3K miles...no issues. Best of luck.

Like HogDog I was having the same problem with bad popping on decel, got different setting to try
but never got rid of it. I decided to get a PCIII and it got rid of all those problems rin great now my only problem is and was the same as the Fuel Pak is my plugs are burning white and not tan.

when I put it on my Sportster I had a little popping but discovered the cause was a pinched gasket on the cross over link with the exhaust and not the fuelpak at all.
