I have a 99 RKC, I had V&H 2 into 1, it sounded all right, but I would recommend the Thunderheader 2 into 1. It puts out a nice sound at all rpm's and I think is one of the best looking exhaust out there. Just my 2 cents...but I am happy with mine.

depends on what sound "you" like. as far as black from the manufacturer i will naturally recommend what i have
i wont say it's best because it's the only 2-1 i have ever had. but i like it.

The reasoning behind any two into one pipe is normally more power and more torque and installing it on a bike that is going to be modified along the way is usually the primary reason behind it. If this is your goal, then picking a pipe that is balanced to your power objectives is more important than what it looks like or sounds like. When it comes to black pipes, there are a few that look good and the same can be said for how they work although they all tune differently. IMHO, the black Fatcat from D&D is a thing of beauty. Their quality is amongst the best in the industry and they tune better than many other 2 into 1 pipes without a big torque dip in the lower rpm range.
I'd be telling you to buy a Fatcat and I am sure you will hear the same from many others here. Sound advice that is!!!
