Warm water and soft towels work great on bug juice, nothing safer on plastic IMO

Hey Guys, peroxide is the ticket for me. Have had no problems on the finish or anything like that. I'll ride then park the bike , grab a spray bottle filled with peroxide and spray surfaces, head upstairs for a wet microfiber cloth, go back downstairs and wipe em off clean as a whistle. Finish up with the spray polish from HD and done. After every ride, it takes about 10 minutes. Not bad for keeping er clean..I actually carry a spray bottle in my saddlebags as well. Any questions PM me. Ride Free Steve

Hydrogen Peroxide? To wash bugs off paintwork? FFS!!

I cringe, sometimes, I really do...

I've been using Hydrogen Peroxide for years on all vehicles with no problems. It doesn't harm paint, it attacks proteins and doesn't even smear the wax. Nothing easier, you mix it 50% with water and spray it on. The bugs dissolve before you can out the bottle down and pick up a rag. For crying out loud you can use it for mouth wash! Get the facts!

Ride well,
