mine still squeal after 6000 but only bothers me at slow speeds waiting to see if MOCO will fix it ,probably not they will say they all do that its normal
Isn't the first time I got whored, probably wont be the last.
How hard is it to change the pads. I wouldn't mind changing them if it was only a few bucks for the pads and a six pack's worth of time. My dealer is calling the squeal normal and they won't cut me a break on the labor to have them do it. I ain't giving them money to change the brake pads on my brand new bike.
I've got an '06 Nightrod with Brembos and have never had a squeal. On my new '08 Road Glide, the back brake sqeals at low speeds. However, the squeal is happening less and less as I get more miles on the bike. I'm at 1200 miles now and the squeal is almost gone. Either that or I've learned to tune it out.
ultraman08, The wavier just stated that this was still an experimental fix and I could not hold HD responsible if it didn't fix the problem. Ifthis fix didn't work, I would have just changed brake pads, but it work and I am a happy camper. Dan
