i've read as much as i can and it seems the answer is no, but i am hoping.

 

I don't know where you live, but here in East Tennessee some Sunoco,Shell and all Chevron stations are still alcohol free. The Sunoco ans Shell stations may or may not be alcohol free depending on who owns them and who the oil distributor is. I DO know my 06 Eglide looses 5-6 MPG on the alcohol crap.

 

In my town, only one out of the 9 stations we have have it. Thats the new Marathon station that just went up. None of our neighboring towns carry it.

 

Whats wrong with ethanol?
I supose now we will have a thead on how it makes you bike run bad or slow.
Word your bike will run fine on it and you will not know the difference.
PLUS it will help keep fuel system clean

 

Yeah I dont see the problem, in my truck I ended up getting 385 miles on the last tank. THAT NEVER HAPPENS. My bike runs great on it, and if its doing some good for the environment or even more important an american farmers wallet. Im ok with that.

 

Here in Erie, PA you can't find a station with ethanol.

 

not looking for an argument on the benefits or evils of ethanol. i'm jersey and just looking to see if my bike runs better without it. it certainly runs better with octane boost. dealer blames some of the pinging issues on ethanol (stage 1 w sert) I want to test the theory.

 

Yup I'm not a big fan of ethanol myself. It kills gas mileage.
