I bike the complete biketronics set up with 6-1/2" speaker but not the amp. I hear it clearly at 90 and still enjoyed it an 110mph on my roadglide and I am running v&h true dual headers with the loud bub7 mufflers.

Don't forget to consider the J&M 7.25" speakers along with the J&M 250w amp ,,,

Certainly in the running for the BEST SOUND AVAILABLE label ,,,,,,

I would like to cotrrect something on this thread. 2 OHM vs 4 OHM speakers. 4 OHM speakers will not make your amp work harder and thus add more heat. In fact they are much easier on your amp, however your amp will only put out 1/2 as much power and draw 1/2 as much power from your battery thus less heat. If your amp is rated at 100 watts into 2 OHMs it will only put out 50 watts into 4 OHMs. To get the same volume out of 4 OHM speakers you would need an amp rated at 200 watts into 2 OHMs. (or ratted at 100 watts into 4 OHMs) If the amp is rated for 2 OHMs then you have no problem driving 2 OHM speakers. If your amp is rated for 4 OHM speakers then do not try and drive 2 OHM speakers! Your will eventually fry the amp! Just trying to help.

I don't have any experience with the biketronics but do with Hawg Wired. The Hawg Wired is a plug and play system and sounds great at 80+ with loud pipes. I will be attending the V twin Expo in a couple weeks and my main goal is to figure out what system is the best. I will post my finding when I return.

Hawg Wired gets my vote, Great product, great service, loud and clear even with the thunderheader at highway speed.
