Gap between seat and dash panel
Does everyone else have that uneven gap between your seat and dash panel? It looks like the seat doesnt quite fit over the electrical wiring that runs behind the dash panel. Will this gap disapear with an after market seat? I ask because I am thinking of having my seat redone by Mean City Cycles, but may just replace it instead.

RE: Gap between seat and dash panel
I had a stock pillow top HD seat. BIG gap.
I changes to a Mustang Regal pillow top seat. At first a very, very small gap, but as i use the seat more the gap has gotten a big wider, still not nearly as much as the stock HD seat. I assume the more the seat is used the more the seat will "settle" and the larger the gap will beome over time. I had bough a tank bra with my stock seat but didnt like the looks of it so i took it off and just go use to the gap.

I wouldn't say its common but I have seen it a lot on the factory seats. The Softails seem to be the worse with the Fatboy leading the way, the Heritage isn't as bad but there is a gap on some of them. One thing you may want to try is pushing the tongue on the front of the seat down which will tighten the fit of the seat up a little, sometimes doing this helps fix that also.
