Default Conti Tires

I had Continental Milestone tires put on my Ultra today. I rode 124 miles to work and home. I can't believe the difference in the sound(none)and the handling over the HD tires that were on it. I got my moneys worth out of the HD tires, but the Conti's were a little cheaper and the shop I used(Johnnies in Belle Mo)only charges 40.00 hr shop labor. One note, the dealer put the last rear tire on for me and didn't bother to put any anti seize on the axle, it was a job getting it out and not ruining it or the bearings in the wheel.

Ah'm confused....string title talks 'bout tires...

Oh, wait - ah git it - this is "Cash HDF" - whar it's a game show that takes place on the net, an' we win money by answerin' questions!!!

Mebbe NOW ya unnerstand the old adage 'bout experimentin' - when ya do it, do ONE thang at a time so that you will KNOW what causes any changes.

WOW, I have ridden about 500 miles on the new tires and all I can say, is why in the hell did I wait so long to try them. I got caught in one of the storms in Missouri today coming home and had to ride about 25 miles or so in the rain. The Conti's handled the water great, so feeling like I was floating or moving around. I am a believer now...They corner really great and the grooves in the payment don't seem to effect them.

Default Continental Update

I had to replace the rear tire yesterday, it had 8334 miles on it, I guess that is not to bad for 3-4 months of riding 120+ miles almost everyday to work. The shop I use, didn't have time to order another Continental, so I am trying a Michilin Commander. Handling seems good, no problems with a conti on the front and Michilin on the rear. I feel the Conti was worth the money, but hopfully I will get a few more miles out of the Michilin...
