09 96"
S.E. 204 cams
FM Pro Billet AC
FM Dyno Tuned 3.5" Mufflers
PV1 with a mapr I am trying from ke5rbd

Not too impressed after seeing others 204 dyno results. I havent had a chance to do any tuning yet, but will this weekend. Seat of the pants feels alot better nut nothing extraordinary like I have heard.

Default dyno sheets

2012 Road Glide 103 ci, V&H header pipe & pro exhaust, cone style air cleaner, head work, 10.1:1, Andrews 54 cams. Dyno sheet attached. This was after original tune. Local dealer retuned and made a lot better numbers

Looks like your numbers are backwards-torque/hp?

I think it is the graph that is laid out funny. The two lines do not correspond to the same levels. The torque numbers are laid out on the right side of the graph and the horsepower are on the left. Looks funny, but makes sense once you spend a little time looking at it.

Quite right. I've never understood why anyone should use different vertical scales for power and torque - makes me wonder if they understand what they are doing on the dyno! With the same scales the two curves will cross at the same point of 5,250 rpm, for all engines, a feature which enables some of us, at least, to better understand the performance of the engine.

I'll agree, something not right there at all. It's in STD also. I wonder how the bike runs ? Looks like it would be a dog by the dyno sheet but again who knows. This bike needs a good dyno tuner period !!!

The tuner didn't force scale the graph, the only reason I could imagine for not force scaling it is they don't know any better.

That was with a canned map, no tuning. I am using a powervision with the help of one of the forum members. My HD Mechanic threw it on the dyno as a favor to try and get a baseline and see what the exhaust was really doing compared to the signals that the PV receives from the ECM.

This is the first dyno sheet that we ran in 2009 when I added the PCV and the FM Stage I components.

Not much difference from stock when there is no tune done!! I have to say the Phil know what he is doing, been doing it for some time. We werent looking at the graph at the time just the peak numbers that were produced. We were more interested in what the map was doing throughout the time we were playing with it. I.E. don't pay much attention to the graph. I will try to get him to run it on the dyno again once I am finished playing with the tune.

[I]2012 Road Glide 103 ci, head work, Andrews 54 cams, V&H pro slip ons & header. Original tune was a little disappointing. This is a retune by local dealer more along the lines I expected. New member trying to figure all this out.
