This is what I bought for a Vivid Black 2009. It doesn't include the antenna relocation because I bought a hidden antenna for the fairing.

Tour Pack 79071-09DH $ 724.95
Detachable Rack 53276-09 $ 179.95
Backrest Pad 51634-06 $ 209.95
Docking Hardware 54205-09 $ 149.95
Tour-Pak® Lock 53194-07 $ 19.95
Total $ 1284.75

Nothing $1k or $2K couldn't fix at the parts dept.

I cheaped out, used my RK pac, detach this, bracket that, relocated the antenna in the middle of the pack, something "completely different".

Nobody was impressed that I saved $1k .

I keep mine off and only put it on when the wife rides or I need the storage space. All my friends ride softails and dynas so I like having the ability to make my bike look sportier without it.

I currently use a backrest and luggage rack but the plan is to get the tourpack in about two years. ( It will help to keep my kids on the bike). Another option is then to trade for a Classic or Ultra.

Im not sure about rear speaker kits for quick release, but Im sure you can make some. I bought it for a long haul, but yet to go far....however, my wife loves that backrest.....she fell asleep on it goin to Reno.......LOL.

I did the same thing with my EGS. I leave the tourpak home except when traveling, add the backrest w/rack for the wife or go without. Works great and is easily removed with the quick detach hardware installed. You will need to install all the rear docking points.

I was a little turned off that to have the tour pack meant having those chrome mounting points added under the grab rail. I got the two up rack instead thinking it would be more storage area and no mounts but I was wrong........ it attaches the same way ahhhhhh!!! Anyone wanna trade a sissy bar mounted rack for a two up one????
