I have mine connected with aircraft safety wire to the hinge on the hi-way peg.
As a side note: \\; When I had my wreck last year a mechanic at the dealer told me that all the wrecked bikes coming in seemed to have a bell on them, as did mine!
Maybe they don't work?  \\; Just sayin'

Those "guardian bells" are purely SUPERSTITION....just anutter
way of the MOCO to sell ya' more CRAP!! (Personally, I think they
are way too "twinkie" to have on any HD....but to each his own!)

With a wonderful disposition like that, you probably aren't still around these forums...but I will point it out regardless...gremlin bells are not exclusive to Harley riders. First time I ever noticed a gremlin bell, it was on a BMW. And all of my non harley riding friends have them, too.
