23 inch front wheel on my streetglide

Does anyone know what all has to be modified to get a 23/18 setup on an 08 streetglide. I love the wheel but I ride alot and go on long trips so it has to perform and be comfortable or I'll put it on ebay and go with the 21". I am concerned with the clearance even after I change the fender. Anyone know?

New fender and lower the front end.&nbsp\\; There was a company on here offering a complete kit.&nbsp\\; Forget who though.&nbsp\\; It's definitely different.

need to change front brake resevoir to single disk. hard ride. taller the wheel the shorter the sidewall. try a 21 if you must but 18 front and rear is a good look and rides much better

try finding a 23" tire on the road my buddy could not even find a 18" on the road

Consider "why".&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; If you actually ride it, and I mean really put some miles on it, you won't be happy.&nbsp\\; Largest with any kind of comfort is about an 18".&nbsp\\; Lots of 21" out there, but if you talk candidly with them, most say it's for looks, not for ride.&nbsp\\; JMHO.&nbsp\\; CCRyder

I very repectfully disagree with you I have had my 21 on for 12K + miles rides better than the 16s and 18s I have had.

I respectfully disagree as well.&nbsp\\; My 21x3.5 front rides&nbsp\\;great, I was astonished.

I have doe some travelling with it as well.&nbsp\\; Go all day no problems.

and me makes three i put 7-8000 miles a year and the only differance i noticed in a 21 is the hight(and the great look)but simply lowering took care of that.

Me too...Me Too wanna say the 21's ride great, but I have nothing to compare it to.&nbsp\\; Rode my bike from the dealer with the 16 home and then the next time I rode it was back to the dealer to get the 21 put on.&nbsp\\; But I have had no problems with the 21 and I havent lowered it yet, dont know if I will.
