Good post. I have about 24,000 on this build so far. I did change cams last summer and have about 17,000 on it since then. My build is 110", T-man 10.8:1 pistons (heads decked to 11.1:1 compression), Roeder Racing headwork, SE 259e cams, D&D Fatcat exhaust, SE air box. And I beat the **** out of it. I did break an exhaust stud earlir this summer. But other than that it's ben trouble free. And a relatively quit motor as far as engine noise goes.

Nice Torque number! Throw on a D&D Fat Cat and see the numbers rise a good amount.

Very good question, however most guys(myself included) don't ever really want to admit we made a mistake so the truth can be hard to come by. I can say I was totally screwed over by a shop in my area and I had to pay a guy 2k to fix my issues. Since the fix my bike has been trouble free and it is a very fun, reliable, good handling bike that gets pretty darn good mpg(best 47, avg 43-44) and this is my favorite HD I have ever owned.

Default 103" Stage II

I did the Stage II 103" kit, 255 cams, Vance and Hines Power Dual, 3" Rush slip on's, SE Heavy Breather, fat wires, upgrade spark plugs SE Race Tuner and a 2.5 hour dyno tune.

93HP and 112 ft pds of torque.

Not a rocket ship but it gets my fat *** hauling pretty damn good. I'd say it was worth it to me and that is what is important.

What is with people dragging up these old threads? A 2007 103 is not the same as 2010 is not the same as 2012 or a 2015.

Just to add their .02 to the mix. Might also have a revelant year.

The funny part is a stock 2015 103 comes from the factory with as much power as my 2007 SE stage II 103. I'm pretty happy with that level of power. If I was buying a new Rushmore bike I probably would not touch the thing. Buy it and ride it. I thought that when I took a test ride. I thought man this thing has as much power as my bike. Buy it and go, no modding needed.
