oil viscosity?

Default oil viscosity?

I know the engine oil is 20W50 but what about the tranny and primary? reason I ask is I have a good supply of free Lucas oil Hub Oil and im thinking that might work well. Just wanted to know the " FACTS" of the tranny and primary oil. What do yall think?

I use 20W50 AMSOIL in the trans and have for the last few Putts with No Problem

+1 Amsoil 20W50 motorcycle oil in all 3 holes.

75w-90 in Primary, 75w-140 in the trans. 15W-50 in motor all mobil&nbsp\\;1 car products no problems. Look at oil viscosty chart the 75w-90 is alittle lighter than 20w-50 motor oil.&nbsp\\;

awesome guys thanks for the input. my boss uses 20w-50 in all three holes and he seems to like the ease of it. Im gonna try the lucas hub oil in the trans and primary just because I get it free.

The lucas site says it is for truck hubs and heavy duty transmissions.Dont think it should be used in the primary.
