Default Anyone install the fairing dash pad?

I can't remember who but I know at least one member has one. Just curious as to what all is involved in installation. Any hole drilling? Or just adhesive?

Thanks in advance,

Primo

I have an 06 ULTRA & do not care much for the looks of the dash pad cover. I been thinking about the multi pocket windshield pouch. Any comments on the pouch? mounting etc.

The best multi-pocket windshield pouch that they had (in my opinion) was the one that they discontinued. It had "through the cover" turning clasps to keep it shut- much more reliable than velcro.

Yes you have to drill holes in the fairing (looked at the installation page, did not buy)

I installed a dash pad on my '03 ultra. Drilled two holes using the H-D templets. Piece of cake, but I must admit, I was a bit cautious after seeing that 1/2" holes needed to be drilled through my freshly painted inner fairing. I trimed off the two outer bags from the fairing three bag pouch.
I like it! I don't think I would have trimed off the outer pouches if I had left the 12" windshield but with the dark wind deflecter shield all is good.
