I recently purchased a new Ultra Classic Electra Glide with the factory color option Purple Haze. Added the Sreaming Eagle Stage II&nbsp\\;
Big Bore Kit with V/H Big Ovals and various Chrome goodies . Love the bike so far, had previously owned a 97 Valkyrie Tourer &amp\\; 06 Star Stratoliner but for long trips and comfort this is the best so far.
Does anyone outhere know how many Purple Haze Ultra's were made and was this color option only avaialable for a few months in 2008 ?

i have a 2001 ultra same color but called concord purple it wasnt my choice of color it was a used bike low miliage grape shape&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;i mean great shape its growing on me in an annoying way

it was titled as a shriners edition

 

it was good to see someone else living the dream with that color

 

I don't know how many were made.&nbsp\\; But I do know its a beautiful bike when it is cleaned and polished.&nbsp\\; I am glad I got one

Freind has one, we call him Barney!!!&nbsp\\; He hates it, his wife loves it!!!&nbsp\\; One thing is you sure do see him coming.

 

Harley had several custom colors each was only avaliable for a few months. Once the time was up only the next custom&nbsp\\;color was available no going back.

 

purple haze is a different color from concord purple. purple haze has flecks of green in it, looks awesome

 

Purple Haze was available only for the first 4 months of model year 08. I would guess less than 700 but not sure. Three colors are usually available for 4 months each.HD does not duplicate its custom colors or limited paint sets so you do have a hard to find color.
