Do some research. Austin is a booming area and the cost of living his much higher there than in other cities in Texas. Everyone wants to live in Austin. Great town, lots to do, recreation galore, and plenty of good roads to ride close enough for day rides.
&nbsp\\;
You might contact the Chamber of Commerce and ask them for some information.
&nbsp\\;
Good luck. If you make the move...you won't regret it.

Some of the best riding anywhere in Texas hill country all around Austin. Great Texas music all around area. Can't answer about economy, as we left that area of Tx 18 yrs ago, but was relatively expensive then. Chamber of commerce can answer those questions for you.

The best BBQ in the world! Add the music and the&nbsp\\;hill country, you'll think you're in heaven. Does get hot in the summer, but it helps keep the yankees away.&nbsp\\;
