Default Rain Gear Suggestions

My Harley issue of Raingear is running on 9 years old and is not what it used to be.

What would you suggest picking up for rain gear that is light, small, breathable, and actually keeps you dry.

I would like somethign that allows full freedom of movement.

What do you all recommend?

+1 on the Frogg Toggs, I was in a downpour and stayed dry. Some people don't like them, Me... for the price and how much space they take up..... Perfect

I picked up the frogg toggs and like the fact they pack up small and seem to work but if you had a set that worked for 9 yrs i would be inclined to buy the same thing. Hard to beat 9 yrs of service.

This is what I run with, I have a bunch of miles in the rain with this set up and think that its pretty good, I have no complaints. A friend has the Frogg Toggs and ruined the pants the first time she used them. She wasn't careful, and her leg touched her pipes, and bam, a hole in the pants. Just something to think about.

I bought a set of the Frogg Toggs about a month ago. As stated before, they are light weight and pack small. They don't tend to burn you up as you ride out of the rain and into sunshine either.
They only thing is, like most suits I've tried, the pants seem to ride up over my boots after riding for a bit.
Overall, for the price, good product.

I use the HD overpass rain gear and have no complaints $140 on ebay

another thing that you might want to try are the soft velcro lowers
I bought these before Ocean City and whenwe got caught in the down pour they were great

I have the Men's Overpass II setup and it works well. At $150 it's a good value - well made and definitely waterproof. It's not breathable though, and all-day in warm weather gets a bit clammy.

More often than not, I use my Olympia Motorsports AST jacket and pants. This is a very pricey combination, but is excellent for all-around riding in a variety of weather conditions. I rode this combo over a four-day rainy trip last winter and was warm and dry the entire trip despite all-day rain and 40 degree temperatures. Highly recommended! Here's the jacket during a brief lull in the rain:

Am I missing a reveiw or is it time for a change?
