Default 07 Front Axle Spacer Length?

What is the stock length of the wheel spacers for the front axle on an 07 Ultra?
I know they are for a 1" axle.
I assume they are the same length on both sides of the hub?

Not same size on both sides. According to pn# 41610-02 (I didn't have stock ones on hand) which is the chrome replacement ones for 00-07 tourers, left side is 1" and right side 7/8" Hope this helps.

Hey Dawg,

Thanks for the response, I assumed they would be the same length, but maybe this has something to do with tracking?

Left side being Clutch Lever side?

Yes, left side as you sit on it.

Dawg: IIRC, the left side spacer also has notches that face the wheel side, and the non-notched side faces the left fork. At least that's the way it is on my '04 EG.

Do you know what the notches are for? I was looking at using generic chrome spacers, which wouldn't have the notches, is that possible?

My GUESS is that because the axle is tapered, the left side spacer's i.d. is tapered as well--the notches identify the correct orientation of the spacer.

Good luck with your project.
