Default Adjusting angle of levers on handlebar

I just had the Heritage handlebars installed along with heated grips on my '09 RKC. Took the bike home and tried to adjust the angle of the levers to point more downward, but when I loosen the two bolts for each of the clutch and brake lever clamps, I can not rotate them downward. They are almost level (horizontal) with the ground, but would like them to point more downward. I even removed the 2 piece clamp of the clutch lever from the handlebar, but could not rotate it downward.

Is there any limit to how much the clutch and brake levers can be rotated?

You must also loosen the third bolt, (which is a different size torx) on top of the housing.

Be careful when you do loosen that bolt. If the others are also loose, the whole thing is going to spin freely on the bar.

Default easy to do

Just loosen slowly until it will just turn, then sit on your bike and move it to where it's the most comfortable for you, then snug all screws before final tightening. Now for my favorite part, TEST RIDE
