Thunderheader Vs. Bassani

Thunderheader Vs. Bassani
So the story goes like this. I have an 08 street glide that has just over 1,500 miles on it. I installed the V&H true dual header and oval slip ons. They look is clean and the sound is ok. After purchasing the exhaust I decided I wanted to black the bike out and have thought about switching to the Tunderheader 2-1 because I like the style and really like the sound. I also like the look of the new 2-1 Bassani system but have not heard it.
Question is, would you change out the V&H system for a 2-1 system and if you did which of the two would you run? Anyone here have the Bassani pipe that can chime in?

I have the bassani duals on my 04 and love em.
Also have the 2-1 Bassani road rage on my wifes 08.
Both are great. The duals are geat, not To loud .
The 2-1 is the best 2-1 I have heard.
Very distinct sound and I get a lot of comments on it.
The 2-1 performs better too.
I am thinking of going 2-1/black on mine next year
hope this helps

I suggest a different take to the question, a comparison in your case between the Supertrapp Supermegs and the D&D Fatcat, both of which come in black powdered coat. If you like it a little quieter, the Supermegs have your advantage; otherwise, the Fatcats deliver on sound. Both deliver increased power especially in the low end. Supermegs are very hard to beat on many levels, including looks.
