Default ECM Reset?

Greetings all,

Is there a way to "reset" the ECM to a Pre-SERT condition without having to have the Dyno tech do this?

Thanks all!

No; the subsequent SERT-installed settings overwrite the original settings. And the maps that came with the SERT calibration files don't include the factory settings, IIRC.

Always wondering this as well - you would think they would have the factory map on the SERT CD. Guy to ask is Doc1 - he would know for sure. But, I think the dealer needs to reset the ECM from the Digital Tech software tool.

I would think this has come up before and your Dyno shop might have a virgin map they could load.

Get a hold of the previous owner and ask them for the tuner they used. It was probably a TTS tuner. Other option is reach out to TTS, they can reset it I think but they will need the ECM.
