Default HELP Bar install, now error codes p1510, p2138

I just installed wild one 575's and went on a short ride...love the bars and the new clean look

Bike is throwing a pair of codes, p1510 = EFI limited performance
and p2138 = TGS Correlation Error (Twist Grip Sensor)

What happened? How to fix, the install was pretty easy but now this?

Thanks in advance!!

Tim

Just had a similar experience on my o7, with my bar swap. I had to check for the codes, no check engine light. After I got the bike running and everything seemed fine, I cleared the codes and so far no problem.

Think I got her fixed... seems like the green plug is a pos, I took it out of the circuit and soldered the wires direct with an extention.. .wish me luck.

The green plug on the TGS is easy to brake and cause problems. I used the replacement TGS PN: PN 32310-08 from the get go which eliminates the green plug and has extended wires. It also makes it much easer to run internal wiring.

Isn't that part # for 1 1/4" bars? I looked into that when I changed to Wild 1 518s on my Road King. The Wild 1 bars use the stock 1 1/8" TGS.

The "1.25 inch" in the discription is misleading. I used this TGS on new 1" Sweeper bars.

I built it within MS-Word and saved it as a Web Page. If you have MS-Word and want a copy send me a PM.

I ended up having to replace the twist grip sensor.. it must have become damaged in the process.

I just used a stock one and soldered it in on my extended harness.. all is well now
