Outdoor Bike Cover's
#4
I use Nelson-Rigg. I use a full cover in the winter and half cover in the summer. The half cover is used every day, stays on the bike and is primarily for UV protection, bird crap, dust. It can be scrunched up and takes little space (fanny pack). The full covers need to go into a stuff bag and are about the size of a human skull when packed. I replace both covers about every two riding seasons because they become too ratty. That's why I use Nelson-Rigg; cost effective for amount of time you have them. They keep the water off but I spray them yearly with water resistant spray.
If you get a full cover, get the ones with the heat resistance lower panels. They allow you to cover your bike while it's still hot. It then becomes an oven and drys everything off inside. Nothing better than riding a dry bike when the rain stops.

I was looking at that one as well...What is the size of the cover once it is folded up? Does it take up a lot of room in the saddle bag?

Looking at the Dowco Weatherall Plus EZ Zip at the Superstore and they have XL, 2XL & 3XL.
Just wondering which one would fit an Ultra.

I got the Weatherall Plus in an XXL size. Fits perfect. Got mine from Dennis Kirk. When it's in the bag, it's about the size of a small throw pillow for your couch.
