I would like to put braided covers on the front brake, and clutch levers. However, I am not looking to purchase them, I would like to do this myself.
Anyone have a line on the "how-to" for braided leather control covers?

Check with www.ironbraid.com as they may offer kits to do it yourself etc. They make the absolute best braided products and I often would sent them my clutch and brake levers for braiding but didnt on my newest bike.

They are a tad pricey, but the quality cannot be beat.
Anyway, give them a yell for advice etc. as I think they would be helpful.

You can occasionally find the iron braid ones on e-bay, just make sure they fit your year bike.
The majority of the ones listed on there are for older models.
